The Skat-Trak Intake Grate for the Kawasaki 800 SXR is designed for maximum efficiency and performance. Both the Cut Back and Standard models shown here are utilize the Skat twin scoop top loader design. The second scoop has been relieved a bit to maintain peak top speed in smooth water conditions. The top loader design hangs down below the bottom plane of the watercraft hull. The IJSBA allows the intake grate to be 12.00 mm (.047 in.) below the flat plane of the pump intake area. Both model Skat Trak intake grates pictured here are within this allowed limit. As pictured, the Skat Trak SXR Scoop Grate is available with or without the second scoop cut away. This production change in the 800 SX-R intake grate was made to perform best with the Skat Trak Aluminum Kawasaki 800 SX-R Pump Shoe. The Standard model Skat-Trak SXR intake grate may also be combined with the Kawasaki 800 SX-R Pump Shoe. Typical high quality construction and performance from Skat Trak!
