The head shell is then anodized for durability and protection against salt-water corrosion. This is the head shell only and includes orings that fit into the grooves in the head shell and brass fittings. Available in Black or Silver.

ADA Racing Cylinder Head Girdle Kit for Yamaha 701/760 and Yamaha 1100/1200 Girdled Cylinder heads. Includes 6 stainless studs, 6 stainless washers, and 6 chrome acorn nuts. The only true girdle system. It does not bolt the cylinder to the cases, but sandwiches the cylinder between the head and the cases. Therefore, there is no pressure on the base of the cylinder. The threads are rolled for strength and not cut. Thread rolling compresses the material adding strength to the threads. Cutting threads leaves the root of the thread sharp, weakening the thread and making them easier to break.
