The Skat-Trak Stainless Steel Intake Grate for the Kawasaki SXR1500 is designed for maximum efficiency and performance. Both the Cut Away and Standard models utilize the Skat twin scoop top loader design. The second scoop has been relieved a bit to maintain peak top speed in smooth water conditions. The top loader design hangs down below the bottom plane of the watercraft hull. The IJSBA allows the intake grate to be 12.00 mm (.047 in.) below the flat plane of the pump intake area. Both model Skat-Trak intake grates are within this allowed limit. The Skat Trak SXR 1500 Scoop Grate is available with or without the second scoop cut away.
