| Yes, I
finally got my helmet, just in time to show it off in a 24 hour
karting race that took place last weekend. Lots of people
just stood still, amazed by its "glamour"! I'm not
kidding!
We didn't win the race, but we
sure made an impression on everyone! (we came 11th, within 22
teams; lots of mechanical problems; we lost some 30 minutes,
total, in the pits). And yes, the helmet fits me quite nicely,
thank you! Well, I wouldn't mind if it was one size smaller, but
it's ok like that.
As soon as I get some good
pictures of me in action, I'll send them to you. This was not the
case, last weekend, because the weather was poor (very very
cloudy, sometimes raining).
Well, I was not mistaken in my
remarks about the helmet, but I still can't help saying you did a
wonderful job about my helmet painting idea. I got to tell you;
that negative horse logo on the sides, over the chequered flag is
too much!
