After creating a project watercraft for last years PWCtv cable show season
that was themed "futuristic", Blowsion and PWCtv have teamed up w/
Polaris and many other sponsors to create an aggressive "race themed" rocket ship
for
the Y2K season. (what is PWCtv?- go to PWCtv.com and
find out!!) The adjectives being used to describe the planned layout are:
Clean, Sanitary, and FAST !!
Depicted here are the conceptual thumbnail drawings showing a "rough" version of what is to
be commenced. Changes are being made and interpreted as we type, however, the basic goal is
to create a graphic design that complements the various sponsors logos, while also being extremely identifiable on the race course (from near and afar).
As noted on the sketches, it is frustratingly elusive to render the shades of the true paint colors w/ pen and
ink. Please bear w/ us on our thumbnails, as we prefer to spend our time designing on the proposed project, rather
than drawing all day on a 2D piece of vellum sketch paper !!!!
Main Colors: Light Metallic Silver, and Gold to Silver color shift
Complementary Colors: White & Black accents & Pinstripes. Silver graphite Metalflake
Hydro-Turf mats and seat upholstery: Black and White w/ Hydro-turf logos.
COLOR SAMPLES
As you can see from the 3 sample views, this color of silver and gold
is constantly "shifting", depending on the angle of view, and the light source.
It should be quite dynamic in conjunction w/ the silver accent graphics
and multi-colored logos. However, it is rather troublesome to try and
render w/ a colored pencil or ink pen !!
Paint Work Has Begun.......
