note on prices for custom helmet painting:
We can
easily formulate a paint package that fits within your budget.
Most of our helmet paint work ranges from $295.00-800.00 US Dollars. We recommend
using a new, solid color helmet for the best results. Used
helmets with decals require an added prep charge of $25.00
to 45.00. We prefer that you
do not prep (sand or primer) the helmet yourself or remove
the moldings.
Basic
graphic layout $295.00 - 400.00
Additional cartooning or characters. Sponsor lettering or
nickname. 40.00 - 175.00 and up
Extra airbrush work or shadowing. 25.00 - 250.00 and up
Extra painted visor (for MX or open face helmets) 39.00 -
85.00 and up
Bicycle or half-shell type helmets- basic layout 195.00 -
250.00 and up

time on helmets
is approximately 3-9 weeks
depending on customer demand and time of year.
International customers are usually priority in line due to
the time and cost involved in shipping.
We require
our customers to put as much work into helping us design your
project as we do.
We DO NOT custom paint whatever idea is in our head, instead
we communicate through
phone /fax or e-mail a detailed idea or sketch of your specific
design. Keep in mind , there are
no rules. (if there are--we break them).
We use PPG/Ditzler
epoxy primers and high solid clears, House of Kolor candies
and graphic colors, Dupont Chromallusion and PPG color change
colors.....in other
words we use a combination of materials to create what we
feel is a superior finish
to what is offered by many "professional" paint
shops. All graphics are painted on,
we do not clear coat vinyl or striping tape. We have
a full Vinyl/CAD system for
creating templates and specific logo/fonts and the only use
of fine line is for
"laying out" detailed/structured designs.
We will put together
an accurate cost estimate for the paint work/design after
we receive
input from you on your desires and ideas. We will always want
to personalize the design
to your uniqueness, so it would be our job to expose a few
different ideas or "improvements"
to make it YOUR helmet design !!! This is most easily done
over the phone once we have
your helmet here in our hands and can do some preliminary
sketches.

on this process ranges from $235.00
- 295.00,
(this is in addition
to the paint price). The set price is dependent on how soon
you need it back, condition of
helmet (exterior shell or fully assembled? used or new?),
and the quantity of
